What are the authorized dimensions of a cabin suitcase ? What size for a suitcase in the hold? Will my airline accept my suitcase? These are some of the questions we ask ourselves when we are looking for the ideal size for our suitcase, whether it is a cabin or a hold size.
The brands all offer different sizes and the airlines all have their own requirements. It's hard to find your way around!

- medium suitcase (M) : 4 days to one week
- large suitcase (L) : one week to 10 days
Cabin or hold size?
First of all, you have to determine the size of suitcase you need. If you want to take your suitcase in the cabin, choose a small size (XS suitcase or S suitcase) that complies with airline restrictions.
Hold-on sizes (medium and large) are for longer trips and cannot be carried in the cabin.

What happens if my luggage does not meet the limits set by the airline?
If your luggage does not comply with the limits set by the airline you have chosen for your flight, then you will have to pay a fine according to the extra weight detected for your luggage.
Why choose a carry-on suitcase?

Baage hold luggage is sized to fit all your extended trips. The sizes of the hold luggage for Baage are as follows:
Medium size case M: 65x41x26cm (H x W x D) for 64 liters
Large size L: 75x47x29cm (H x W x D) for 95 liters

Authorized dimensions for the hold according to the airline companies
Just like for cabin luggage, your medium and large size suitcases are also subject to airline restrictions that must be respected or you will be fined.
In general, you will not encounter any difficulties with your medium-sized suitcases because the rules concern the dimensions of checked-in suitcases of all sizes.
Therefore, you should be especially careful if you plan to travel with a large suitcase. Here are the instructions provided by the major airlines concerning the dimensions of checked bags.
Dimensions of the ryanair hold luggage
The dimensions for the hold luggage at Ryanair are the following: 119x119x81 cm (WxHxD). Other rules are to be known.
20kg max / baggage OR up to 23kg when checking in online
each passenger can check in up to 3 pieces of luggage

Air France checked baggage dimensions
Regarding the dimensions of the Air France checked baggage, each bag has a limit of 158cm in total (WxHxD). You can go up to 300cm by paying a supplement.
At Air France, baggage limits depend on the class of your ticket.
Economy: 0 to 2 bags of 23kg
Premium economy : 2 bags of 23kg each
Business : 2 bags of 32kg each
First class: 3 bags of 32kg each
Vueling checked baggage dimensions
There are different prices according to the weight of your checked baggage. It is only possible to check in one type of baggage per category according to the model below:
baggage of -15kg: 10 euros
20kg luggage: 12 euros
baggage -25kg: 17 euros
luggage -30kg : 25 euros
